«Community of Benefactors»

My name is Maksym, I am the founder of the «Community of Benefactors». The war in Ukraine began in 2014 after the Russian Federation invaded Crimea. In 2015, my friends and I decided to start volunteering, which lasted until 2020. After the start of a new phase of the war, namely the full-scale invasion of Russia on February 24, 2022, I could not sit idly by and resumed my volunteer activities.

My goal is to unite people so we all together can help the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defeat Russian terrorism, as well as to help displaced people, Ukrainians living in the war zone, and people affected by the war. In 2022, I was officially registered in the volunteer register, so our help is official and clear.

How does it work? We have already provided a lot of help to civilians and the military, these people share the information with others, so more and more people know about the "Community of Benefactors". When I receive requests from the people, they first go through a verification stage, and after that, they report their needs, then the amount of money that needs to be raised to provide them with this assistance is calculated and the fundraising begins. After each fundraising and purchase of necessary items, I publicly post the photos of purchased items, as well as photos of receipts from the stores, and screenshots of payments after purchases. Then the things we have bought are handed over to the military or civilians, and they also take a photo with them as proof. In this way, each donor can see what the money was spent on and be sure that the purchased items were really given to the needy.

Our goals are the Victory of Ukraine, Peace in Ukraine, and helping all Ukrainians who need it.
